Game planning for junior will be a comprehensive website that will enable schools to monitor their student athletes from the start of their freshman year. It will also contain relevant topics that will be beneficial to any student athlete throughout his high school career. The website will enable counselors, coaches, and administrators to have a GAME PLAN for their student athletes as they enter high school. Although the website is dedicated to all high school sports, the academic sections will benefit any sport. The website will be a monthly newsletter that will emphasize the following topics:
- NCAA Eligibility (Clearinghouse)
- Core Classes
- Scholarships (all types)
- Financial Aid
- Recruiting Services
- Camps
- Test Scores
- Other Relevant Topics
It will also feature a section with frequently asked questions (FAQs) that should help in answering basic questions regarding the topic being discussed each month. Also a direct email link will be given to have personal questions answered.
How does it work?
Each school will be given 2 pass codes that can be used by whoever the school would like to put in charge of the program. This could be a Coach, Counselor, Administrator, it really doesn’t matter. Just as long as someone takes a vested interest in the student athlete’s future.
That person can then log in to access the newsletter, review FAQs, as well as ask personal questions. You will not be allowed more than 2 log ins per school at the same time. If someone forgets to logout, measures will be in place to issue a new pass code.
How much does it cost?
The cost for an entire high school with be $300 which includes 5 pass codes. Anyone who is given the pass code from that school can then log on and access the website. Additional pass codes can be purchased at a cost of $75.00.
Why should a school participate?
If your school chooses to participate and helps only “one student athlete” the return on your investment of $150.00 for a chance to receive a scholarship is well worth the price. As stated earlier, too many times student athletes have made mistakes in their freshman and sophomore years from which they can’t recover. This program will enable them to have a game plan in place from the time they enter high school.
What this website “IS NOT”
This
“IS NOT” a recruiting service. It will put your student athlete in the best position to receive a scholarship but will not guarantee him a scholarship. The entire process of earning a scholarship is based on his/her ability on the playing field as well as in the classroom.
